On Saturday 25 May, the auction house Drouot Estimations, Côme Remy, experts in 20th century and contemporary decorative arts, and Charlotte du Vivier-Lebrun, a contemporary ceramics consultant, present for auction ‘Techniques & Materials’ (‘Manière & Matière’), which is dedicated to contemporary decorative arts. As part of this event, the artist William Amor presents his iconic bouquet of roses, entitled ‘Granville’s Garden’, which has been hand-crafted from discarded and upcycled plastic bags.

William Amor’s unique artistic vision sprang from a desire to create art that has an element of poetry, celebrates nature and helps protect the environment. Through his unique creations, which are full of meaning and evoke an emotional response, the artist offers a different perspective on the world surrounding us, including items whose presence, existence and origin we may have forgotten or disregarded.
