‘Bloom of Rose’, Maison Guerlain | Champs-Élysées + Vendôme – Paris

For the launch of the Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose fragrance, the House of Guerlain asked William Amor to create a floral art installation in the windows of the Guerlain boutiques at 68 Champs-Élysées and 356 Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. William Amor pays tribute to the rose by transforming plastic bags and bottles, fishing nets, ropes and coffee capsules into objects of beauty. These previously discarded materials blossom into flowers in hues of deep red and pastel pink. Adding to the beauty of the installation is a spray of crystalline-finished rose petals in powdery soft tones, which glint and gleam in a play of light. William Amor invites the viewer to let their imagination run free, with this unique art installation set within two stunning Maison Guerlain locations, on the Champs-Élysées and on Rue Saint-Honoré.

William Amor’s unique artistic vision sprang from a desire to create art that has an element of poetry, celebrates nature and helps protect the environment. Through his unique creations, which are full of meaning and evoke an emotional response, the artist offers a different perspective on the world surrounding us, including items whose presence, existence and origin we may have forgotten or disregarded.
