A sense of poetry and a fresh perspective combine to transform the detritus of our everyday life into a marquetry-style patchwork of cigarette stubs and anemones, as discarded plastic bottles are transformed to resemble a coral reef. Repurposed plastic bags and bottles, and discarded fishing nets and ropes have undergone a process of transformation to create a family of Petro-jellyfish floating in a forest of algae bloom. This artistic creation pays tribute to the beauty of nature and raises awareness about endangered oceans.

William Amor’s unique artistic vision sprang from a desire to create art that has an element of poetry, celebrates nature and helps protect the environment. Through his unique creations, which are full of meaning and evoke an emotional response, the artist offers a different perspective on the world surrounding us, including items whose presence, existence and origin we may have forgotten or disregarded.
