‘Cherished Legacy’ (‘Héritage Précieux’), Chanel Fashion Distribution France – Vémars

William Amor has created a mural sculpture entitled ‘Cherished Legacy’, embellished with Plastic Pollutus Camellia flowers, which have been crafted through a process of transforming discarded plastic bags and fibres into precious materials.

It is on display in the Gabrielle meeting room at the new CHANEL Fashion Distribution facility in Vémars.

The artist has interpreted the heritage of the House of CHANEL through the metaphor of the tree of life, to create a work that takes the form of an elegant ebony framework with a graceful capillary network design, interspersed with message-bearing Camellias, in tones of soft red and pink.
