TÉLÉRAMA | CRYSTAL AND PLASTIC, THE ALLOY THAT NEVER FADES
“The twenty-seven crystalline drops by Murano master glassmaker Simone Cenedese, which already adorned the “sky” of the Atrium space in the Passage du Havre, are no longer naked:
each one is adorned with a flowery garland that looks as if it too has been chiselled from glass. A visual illusion!
Committed artist William Amor borrows craft techniques (cutting, dyeing, pen-and-ink drawing, jeweller’s tweezers…) and draws inspiration from the world of flowers to ennoble plastic and other industrial waste.
This time, he has created this “hanging garden”, which refreshes the eye and questions the mind.”
