Ondée messagère exhibition
Ondée messagère exhibition at Passage du Havre – Paris from May 19 to October 24, 2025
For this installation held beneath the Passage du Havre’s glass ceiling, artist William Amor has sparked a dialogue with the work of master glass artist Simone Cenedese, who created the hanging droplets made of hand-blown Murano glass. William Amor was inspired by these 27 hanging droplets to tell a story about the cycle of water, an essential source of life and vital force on our planet.
In his environmentally aware artistic practice, William Amor turns everyday plastic waste like water bottles, ropes and fishing nets into floral works of art imbued with poetic meaning. With his botanical sculptures nestled among the glass droplets, the artist offers up his plant-inspired creations in homage to the nature that flourishes in tropical regions, the cradle of our very existence.
The artist presents one of our planet’s most mysterious acts of metamorphosis: when water connects with the earth, life blooms. Echoing this installation, a floral display makes a clear and symbolic gesture inside the atrium: 250 tulips made from recycled materials embedded in the green wall. These fragile yet powerful blooms extend the message of rebirth delivered by William Amor’s oeuvre.
This art installation invites us to contemplate our relationship with nature and materials, giving new meaning to what we consider “waste”. A poetic and conscious act at the intersection of contemporary art and environmental activism.
